First Weigh in- 122kgs Current Weight- 98kgs Target Weight - 85-88kgs With a 3 digit number depicting my weight for most of my adult life, I was on the verge of giving up hope of seeing double digits on the weighing scale. I got introduced to aaditya in 2014 thru a common friend. He introduced me to the keto lifestyle and i thought it is a fad and not possible in daily life. Once I did changes in the lifestyle, my overall health improved substantially. Somehow I realised how bad sugar or wheat is for the health. It was a great learning for me on what NOT to eat especially.
Later I started Personal training with aaditya. In my opinion, there is no better trainer than him. His dedication towards his profession, knowledge about nutrition, work out techniques were phenomenal. He is so passionate about his work. I could take away so many things.

When I got introduced to Aaditya like most of you reading this was skeptical and in doubt to attend his PT. Basically for two reasons i.e. why keto and why so much hefty fee for jus 12 sessions. Well my journey of weight management I got all the answers of which I would share a few. Firstly, you not paying his fees just for sessions, in return you get a guidance of a well educated person in field of fitness in totality. Secondly, in my journey as he dont support in lifting any weights all my mental blockage of “I cannot lift” was gone and was loving heading the gym and improving my PR. I have tried many diets over the years to lose weight and maintain as much muscle mass as possible. While some diets worked better than others, there was always one problem common to all diets I tried. They all required a lot of thought and planning throughout the day to maintain the right proportion of nutrition and calorie intake. With the busy life style I was leading, I always found it difficult to maintain the diet for longer than a few weeks. When I went back to normal eating all the weight came back on within a couple of months and I was back to where I started.
I was doubting myself being committed to new diet again, especially, being overseas makes it more difficult to connect with the trainer. But few months ago I was introduced to Aditya by one of my friend. Since then, he has been my mentor and guiding me to achieve my health goals. Aditya introduced me to Ketogenic lifestyle (yes it's not a diet). He assured me this diet would be different from everything I tried due to the fact that it’s not about restricting calories to lose weight in the short term but rather it was a method of shifting the way your body handles sugars or carbs as well as proteins in the long term and using fat for energy. .
I have had consultation in the past from other dieticians but Aditya has a methodical approach among all of them. He explains every bits and pieces of the complex Keto science in simple human understandable language. .
I was 85 kg when I started the diet and only 3 months later with Aditya's help and coaching I was down to 70Kg. Surprisingly even after following this routine for over 3 months now, my craving for carbohydrates and sugars has almost disappeared !.

It is everybody’s wish to have a fit body. But if you think sweating in gym or lifting weights is sufficient, then think again! Fitness is a deep science worth learning from Experts. Merely because someone has a good body may not mean he is fit. Fitness covers training as well as the diet you follow. When I first started lifting and gaining weight, I was happy on the outside, but internally, I was weak. I use to fall ill at least 6 times a year. I met numerous doctors who advised me numerous medicines and diet schedules but everything failed nonetheless. I did not wish to make my body an object of experiment. I was tired, depressed and frustrated. I had started losing muscles rapidly and had almost given up on workout for 4 months. This is when I approached Aaditya. I discussed all my issues with him and he was more than happy to help. He advised me to shift to Ketogenic Diet and guided me in making a strict time table as well as he designed my workout. He took many workout sessions which taught me proper form and gave me effective results. Just like any other human, I started off with an empty mind. Let me first introduce myself - I am Capt. Abhijit S Rajguru a Shipping Professional and a Fitness Freak..!
In my school days i was a National Swimmer and represented Maharashtra State at School National Games Federation of India, but today when i look back i feel that though i was into intense swimming (almost 4 hrs a day), the workout and diet part was always missing. There was total unawareness about importance of nutrition and Weight Training (lifting weights) & i use to wonder despite of so much of efforts why i lack behind...! Later on due to my profession i could not continue competitive swimming and even during my vacations after a long tenure at sea i was quite laid back. The total focus was lost. Being a junk-food friendly person i never paid attention to my health till i realized that i have gained weight of 98 kgs. Back in 2011 when i went for my Pre-joining Medicals (which are very stringent), the doctors were not all happy with my level of fitness and with my body parameters. I was advised to reduce weight on priority basis. Initially i tried all "Stunts" to name a few I went for Fat Loss Tablets, Tummy Tucks Trial Sessions, Running on Treadmill etc etc.
Finally there came point where i realized that nothing is working in my favor, one thing which i did not follow was DIET and WEIGHT TRAINING. Then a very close friend of mine suggested to start weight training. Again its not about how much you train, its about how smart you train. I learnt about K11 Techniques (Nutrition & Weight Training) @ Endurance Fitness Club. This was my intial phase where my then Nutritionist (Rucha and Amruta) helped me to follow a correct Nutritional Diet.
In 2012, I met Master Trainer Aaditya Barve at Endurance and in real sense my journey of Fat Loss started. I was still about 88+kgs when i started training with Aaditya. With his exceptional knowledge about Weight Training, he first made me understand "why we are doing weight training, what is the purpose of correct nutrition and its long term health benefits" We use to review our diet plan once in two weeks which we still do.. workouts and diets were planned in a such a way that there was uniform reduction in Fat Percentage.
I remember my first few days in the gym with complete demoralized thoughts.. I wasn't able to do even free squats. but with Aaditya's consistent efforts and personal training we have gone very far. Since 2012 i have seen him growing as well, he has upgraded himself to Master Trainer and which helped him to teach us the latest techniques and certain best ways to enhance performance while working out.
I personally learnt from Aaditya is that Workout and Diet has to be 100%. There is no 60/40 or 70/30 when it comes to Fitness. Its a journey and not a destination. With this consistency and his weekly review of workouts and diets we have been able to acheive this reduction in weight from 98 kgs to 70 kgs.
